A Fine Art photo exhibition “David Doubilet -Water Light Time” by renowned celebrity American underwater photographer David Doubilet will be presented at L2 SPACE from 25 June 2010 to 18 July 2010. Sponsored by ROLEX and Ocean Geographic Society, This exhibition will showcase a collection of black and white and colour photographs compiled by Doubilet over the last four decades, a chronicle of his passion which began in the Bahamas to his most recent journey through Asia’s richest seas.
In addition to his solo exhibition in Singapore, David Doubilet will also conduct two exclusive seminars for limited audiences to share his knowledge, expertise and method of photography techniques to capture captivating moments of life beneath the surface of the sea. The seminars will be hold at the Gallery on June 25th evening and 26th morning. Free cocktails by Martell will be served after the evening seminar on June 25th, 2010. David Doubilet, one of the world’s leading underwater photographers was born in USA in 1946. He is well known for his work published in the National Geographic Magazine. He has photographed and produced over sixty stories for the National Geographic Society where he is currently a Contributing Photographer-in-Residence. His photography has won numerous prizes including the prestigious “Sara Prize and International Award” given by Mondo Sommerso Magazine, Italy in 1969.
