Darker/More Contrasty photos on the ipad [HELP]!

Hi,

I recently found out that the pictures i posted online appear too dark/more contrasty than it looks like on the computer monitor.
I was wondering if there was a way to solve this?
For example,
This picture appears perfect on the com to me but not on my ipad.
Anyone knows how can I resolve this?

Do a search for "how to calibrate ipad screen" on Google.

Remember, the ipad defaults to extra punchy colors to make people "ooooh and aaaah" at the screen, accuracy be damned

hmm I was thinking of a solution that could solve the screen issues on ALL screens,
is there like a default compression or colour space or anything at all that people use for saving their photos? :/

Nope. You can only try to ensure that your own screen is calibrated. You can't control other people's screens.

Datacolor has got a calibration app for Ipad and iPhone.

And no, calibrations are never universal. You only calibrate to your own satisfaction because it can be affected by a number of factors i.e. prefereces, ambient lighting etc.
