About the HPI | Happy Planet Index

HPI = ( Experienced wellbeing x Life expectancy ) / Ecological footprint

Singapore's relative rankings for each factor:
Experienced wellbeing (higher better) - #35
Life expectancy (higher better) - #12
Ecological footprint (lower better) - #136

Singapore scored well in life expectancy and well-being, but did poorly in environmental sustainability. Overall, it scored 39.8.

Life expectancy (higher better) - #12
Ecological footprint (lower better) - #136

so to speak, it is nothing about u happy or not. the eco is the culprit to drag the ranking down.

yesterday I went Botanic Garden for a shoot, I see a lot of happy faces, some even smile at me when I walk pass them,

I even saw a group of happy couples, each couple wear a couple Tees, written I heart (love) SG.

but almost all of them are foreigners.



and when I go Orchard Road to take photos, I see lots of happy faces too.
