It's a nice little lens, better than its cost I think. I have one, and love it alot:

Go and get one if you don't have any tele lens yet, I'm sure you'd love yours.

Cheers!

yes it's a nice lens, worth the money.

here a pic taken with the DA50-200.

DA50-200 is a good telephoto zoom lens for it is light weight and compactness. It is certainly not the sharpest Pentax lens out there, but I would say it is able to deliver reasonable sharpness consider that it is only a zoom lens. Definitely worth the money.

Some of my shots taken with it... non-process, just re-sized.

cheeerss..

Almost able to get this lens as 2nd-hand... missed the sale... still looking for one. As seen from the shots posted here, it is definitely a good lens to pair with the 18-55mm kit lens.

omg. your pics are GORGEOUS :D

Thank you. I love this lens.

Some photos from a DA 50-200. I hope some of these amateurish photos didn't spoil its names.

Let me know what you guys think??

The photos look quite nice, especially those flowers. The DA50-200 has quite close minimum focus distance, very good for some closeups like flowers and butterflies :)

Thanks for sharing.

Feng Wei, care to share how you manage to take your kids when they are always in motion?

I kept having problems! The kids are always in constant movement making my images really blur!

Care to share the parameters as well?

Bernard

Hi Bernard,

If you watch kids closely (especially from the viewfinder), you'd see they'd stop moving for a split of second once in a while. Just keep watching them, and wait for that moment, better yet, predict that moment of stop and press the shuttle release right before that. The key here is to practise as much as you can. Of course I've got many blurry photos too, but I'd get good ones sometimes :)

Here are some shots I took yesterday of our 10.5 months little son:

All taken by K10D+FA43, EXIF remain intact.

Cheers!

Yes, and you can achieve the same w/ higher ISO setting. Actually your FA50/1.4 is one of the best lenses for indoor photography w/o a flash :)
