I'm just wondering, since nikon D7000 is quite new in the market.. Why do people keep selling it away 2nd hand. Hmm..?

Upgrading, in urgent need of cash, camera not suitable and all sorts of reasons. This is a normal process of life.

IMHO this is a meaningless discussion since D7000 doesn't have any more issues up to date caused by the manufacturer itself from my best of knowledge

Thanks fgor the response, at least i'm not wondering anymore. I'm using a D3100 and planning for an upgrade but unsure to go for D90 or D7000. Any suggestions guys?

There are 101 reasons why people sold away perfectly new and seemingly good system.

1) Not as fashionable anymore,
2) Doesn't suits their needs
3) Too heavy/ too light
4) Wanted to jump ship
5) have another body
6) To earn some cash (economic is not exactly good)
7) Don't like the ergonomic of the camera anymore
8) Newer models coming out
9) upgraded to FF
10) Selling away dry cabinet and everything in it, so as to make place for a 52 inch tv.

The above is only 10 of the 101 reasons out there. Of course others might involve more technical aspect, like oily shutter/mirror etc, which only a few is actually affected and stuff like that.

Ask them, summarize and publish here. Could turn out quite interesting ... or it's the typical GAS (Gadget Acquiring Syndrome): Get it, Try it, Sell it. And in the end people can say "Yeah, head it once, sold it way, looking for something better." .. which serves 3 purposes: The seller can show off in front of his peers; cheaper prices for others looking for the same cam and some entertainment for those who know that a camera is only a tool.
