D700 vs D600 auto focus speed

i have problem for my d700

The Auto focus sometime will have out of focus in low light condition like indoor stadium

As d700 is a very old technology, will D600 have a better auto foucs to track object better?

btw i using a nikon 80-200mm afd F2.8 len

isit the len AF slow or camera AF slow?

Both cameras have about the same low light AF capability. But still the D700 has advantage over the D600 with more AF points. Could it be that the OOF shots are due to motion blur? Anyway, the 80-200mm AFD is still one heck of a lens.

Stick with single point AF in AFC mode to avoid this. me will It is also best to use only the cross type AF points for tracking your subject.

Btw, have you done AF micro adjustment on your lens?

i was just wonder as d700 using old technology, will the new camera have better af focusing due to the new technology?
