D2x: how to turn on the AF beep-beep sound?

When I used D70, when auto-focus, got the beep-beep sound, but there is no beep-beep sound when it's focus in D2x

how to turn it on? I can't find it anywhere in the menu and manual.

or my speaker is spoilt?

D2X is a PRO Camera not a consumer camera...dun think you need that function anymore after you upgrade right?:bigeyes:

if in doubt, you can always look at the bottom left of your VF to check whether object in focus or not. you should know what i mean right? :bsmilie:

found it irritating.

also another thing to note, no grid lines to light up for the D2X hor.
