D2x: how to turn on the AF beep-beep sound?

Pro bodies no need for "beep beep" sound one lar...focusing is so fast and "zhun zhun" one....one shot one kill.

Nevermind lah.. D200 can set high pitch beep beep or low pitch beep beep mah, even better right. I think the low tone sounds nicer. But it's not a problem that D2X don't have. I think there is no need because the D2X has the >o< indicators and it's easily visible. When > or < turns to o, it's in focus.

Do you mean the beep or the >o<?

The D70 just displays a o when it is in focus. There are no > < on the D70 nor the D200. I can't remember if the D100 has it.

Yes the venerable F601 has >o< focus indicators but doesn't beep.
The F801s and F90 do but you can turn it off.
