D200 in stock?

Hi folks

A friend of mine is coming through Singapore next week and is looking to pick up a D200. He has made a few enquiries with some of the shops, but seems that it is out of stock.

Anyone know if any shops here have any stock of the D200? Thanks very much.

Just called Cathay - "no stock and no idea when new stock arriving" - was the answer.

Maybe, a good idea to book for one - dunno if there is still a backlog of orders so much so that the next batch would be sold-out upon arrival.

Price still the same though and comes with a camera bag as a launching gift.

D200 was advertised again at Straits Times today, full page colour ad.

Perhaps only the popular cam shops are sold out because they sell at a great price. But for those stores who sticks to the RRP of $3288, I'm sure they have stocks.

I use the Sandisk Extreme III 4Gb and the Laxer 2Gb 80X with WA by feeling the Sandisk is just slightly faster. If you don't shoot contineously until buffer is full not much difference.

Gold color not good inuf - use the Platinium color card - money can transfer faster (with biggest credit limit and longest repayment period too IMHO ) :thumbsup: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:
