As I only own Nikon DSLRs. May I ask those more experience guys, can custom curve be loaded to all Nikon DSLRs? Can other brands like Canon, Pentax, Sony, Olympus etc have their curve modified by the users?

Not ALL camera bodies can have custom curves loaded.
If a camera has provisions to adjust the response curves, you might not need to load custom curves, but just adjust to need.

Thanks Dream Merchant. Custom curve was the big thing for D70 then and I'm rather adapt to customizing it...just wonder if i could still play with it with other bodies.:bsmilie:
I understand most of the time it's not needed/recommended to adjust it.
I don't think many do.
It gets kinda technical, so the safest bet for the majority is leaving it alone and doing adjustments in post.
I explored the idea of messing with mine, but decided against it as simple custom adjustments in the parameters were adequate.
