Just went to the resort a couple of weeks ago.
Quite a no. of activities organized by the friendly GOs(Gracious Organisers) there.
The kids will like the programs there.
It has a nice beach of its own. 1st day weather was quite gloomy when we reached there.
C & C are welcome. Thanks for viewing.

The cloud was very outstanding for pic#1,7,12,15, do you use any GND filter or what software to PP. :)

Hi Bro,

Thanks for your comments :)
GND filter was not used for the pics.
Adjustments made to the Shadows/Highlights using ACDSee application.

You've got some nice shots here! I was there for my honeymoon during March last year but hadn't picked up photography back then. Certainly brought back wonderful memories. Thanks for sharing :D

Do let me know if they have been overdone or any comments to improve it.

No problem bro ;) I will try other resorts & beaches if got chance to visit there again.

Tried to take sunrise on 2nd day by waking up at 6pm.
However, the time at Bintan is 1 hour earlier than S’pore.
So it is actually 7am at S’pore, too late for me to capture sunrise.

I am impressed with your shots & this resort. Never realised that Bintan can be so beautiful.
Mind sharing what rates did you paid for this retreat ?
Thanks
RC

Thanks for your kind comments :)
Yes, it looks better than i expected too.
I tag along with my wife's corporate trip, so FOC ;)
Think 3 days 2 nights stay cost abt $700(wkend stay).
It is including all meals, drinks(fruit juice, cocktails too) at the bars, the games, etc.
Did not manage to spend a cent cos all 3 days spent at the resort.

I think you've got some pics with very dramatic skies. Those are good shots  Get a subject in the beach and pair it with the skies, the pics will look great :)

For pic #40, i should be using auto scene mode and set the focus inside the shelter.
The exposure for the bright sky and dark shelter should be auto-balanced by the Active D-Lighting feature if i m not wrong.
For the editing, i just increased the contrast.
