I mainly shoot still life. However I'll be going out to shoot Sydney Chinese New Year Parade on
February 10. If opportunity allows CS Kaki may join and shoot together and soak up the CNY atmosphere in Sydney.

More details here:

Also don't forget to go and shoot Australia Day January 26.

Wont be back in Sydney till March

Si Beh Hor!

You can shoot Sydney with a 28-700mm F2.8 zoom from your balcony without going out. :bsmilie:

but hor ....... apartment facing other side wahahah :sweatsm:

think tonight go stake-out see where good to take wahhaha

LOL. i had seen many pics coming from that place but never found enough time to go there to shoot before :embrass:

not to mention that the train ride is slightly expensive from wollongong (South Coast Line)..

A$13.20 for a return ticket to and fro..

and people thought our MRT is expensive.. :bsmilie:

To Central or Circular Quay?

How long is the ride to Wollongong? What's nice to see there? ;p

to Central. but i believe a few other main stations (like circular quay) is free to travel as well.
1.5 hours on 'express' meaning about 6-7 stops or up to 1hr 50mins on 'normal' aka sit until butt open flower 15-20 stops..

what is to see at Wollongong? erm.. seriously speaking, nothing much.. i state the 'main attractions' at the illawarra region (or some say, South Coast)
a. there is a huge blowhole at Kiama
b. nan tien temple, the biggest buddhist temple in the Southern Hemisphere at Berkeley..
c. jamberoo water theme park, http://www.jamberoo.net
d. lots of beaches in various towns/suburbs.. (but sydney has some pretty good ones too)
e. if you like to visit factories, Bluescope Steel, Port Kembla Steelworks are at Port Kembla..
f. skydiving? jump from 14000 ft, not exactly cheap though.. http://www.skydivethebeach.com
g. watch dolphins / whales at Jelvis Bay..
h. scuba diving/snorkelling at Shellharbour..
i. WINS entertainment stadium (home of the Wollongong Wolves, Slingers and 1 more club..)
j. hmm there are some greyhound racing clubs at Bulli and Dapto as well..

quite boring isnt it? the main city centre has a small shopping area, quite forgetable..
its a retirees' haven afterall.. ps: there are tons of 'slow' sports for the elderly here.. ;)

I will be based in Sydney come mid feb ;)
