4.00pm to 4.45pm “Conservation Photography” by Matthew Lee, World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF).

Matthew will be speaking on conservation photography and its importance to WWF’s efforts and campaigns. Particularly sharing on this year’s expedition to Pekanbaru, Riau in Indonesia to photograph the haze situation as well as images by Alexey Ebel taken during a recent WWF expedition to the Arctic.

Matthew Lee started his photographic journey documenting military exercises as part of the SAF Film Unit and moved on as a staff photographer for Prestige and August Men magazines, accumulating a wide editorial portfolio of lifestyle and personalities. Having spent the past 5 years on the picture desk of the news wire agency, Reuters, he is currently coordinating photography and video efforts at the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF). He believes we are all connected and is trying to save the Earth one photograph at a time.
