How to crop digital photo to the 3:2 aspect ratio for printing at commercial printing shop, currently me using approximation method (aga-aga).
Please advise on a more proper and efficient technique thanks :D

Select Marquee tool.
In the tool bar, select Fixed Aspect Ratio under Style and key in 3 for Width and 2 for Height.

then how to save it to JPEG or any other file without losing the original quality ? tkss

you lose a bit of info everytime you save into jpeg. if you're concerned, save onto tiff.

frd, alternatively, if you don't wish to crop at all, tell the shop to print with borders without any resizing, then after you collect the prints, either leave it as it is, or cut out the borders.

For me, if I don't wish to crop or crop too much, then I'll add in the borders myself in Photoshop with the whole resulting image being 3:2.
