was thinking.. since DOF is unaffected by crop...
how about angle of view?
i.e. the wider I go the more condensed the far objects are, so even if I crop the near-far objects still retain their FOV proportions right? rather than a simple shift in focal length...
 

Hahahaha. I wonder why no one bit. Strange isn't it? It was this very topic that scratched quite a few misconceptions about lots of people for me (don't worry, none in this forum).

Am I being too cryptic? Probably... that time of the month again. No, not *that* time; that time.
