In support of the Read! Singapore 2013 by National Library Board (NLB), the Insight: Under One Sky 2013 competition is a creative-arts competition organized by The Frontier YEC to take place in the period of June to August. The insight competition was launched since 2011 and this is the 3rd year running.

Competition flow:
- Register at Insight Competition: Registration to receive your free Read! Singapore 2013 books. Registration closes on 18th August.
- Submit to us your thoughts and feelings of any of the stories read in the form of a photograph, drawing, poem, or prose at Insight Competition: Submission. Submission deadline is 31st August.
You can depict the story in the form of a photo, capture the emotions you felt after reading the story in the form of a photo, or even take a photo which distills the essence of the story...etc -- as long as it relates to the story read. The possibilities are endless. This is a creative competition and it is up to your interpretation.

CASH PRIZES TO BE WON!
For the Picture/photo description Open Category:
1st Prize: $500
2nd Prize: $300
3rd Prize: $200

There are also cash prizes for 2 other categories: Secondary and Pre-U/Tertiary.

Some of you have sent in queries as what kind of books are Read! Singapore 2013.

Our answer: These are SHORT STORIES, and comes in 4 booklets. They are very easy to read :) Sign up now at Insight Competition to receive these free short stories and register for the competition!
