Yes! considering it's 5GB and comes with FM Radio - it is more ecconomical than ipod.

Moreover there is a price cut of S$80 since it is first launch 3 weeks ago.

for the record, i think u can get ipod mini's at the same price. Or even a ipod 20gb. Thats what i got and i paid $450 for it 3mths ago.
