You mean those small freshwater crabs?
I used to keep them. But quite hard to keep, mine dead after a couple of weeks as it is not eating the food.
They are scavengers right? So they like to eat rotton stuff? If you keep changing the water and getting rid of rotton stuff, I guess they will die.
Yah, but some aquariums do sell those food sticks that is for Crustacean (eg. shellfish or shrimps)
Looks like they don't last long.. I saw so many rare brackish mangrove crabs
at a Yishun pet shop $13 for each crab.
I was thinking of buying one , taking my macros then
giving it away to someone who wants to have it..
This is a wild one I found in Jurong.
The complexity of the design makes it a very interesting macro subject

I will be scared to keep one. What if they get a good grasp on you with one of those claws?
Maybe they are not meant to live that long anyway... What is their lifespan? Maybe you gave them a good life while they are alive... so not so bad. ;p
i've got a crawfish as a pet!

Wow...these pets are not easy to keep. Unless you can really create a "real natural habitats" for them if not they will dead easily.......
I saw on the net too!!!! It really nice but not easy to keep.
