They are scavengers right? So they like to eat rotton stuff? If you keep changing the water and getting rid of rotton stuff, I guess they will die.

Yah, but some aquariums do sell those food sticks that is for Crustacean (eg. shellfish or shrimps)

Looks like they don't last long.. I saw so many rare brackish mangrove crabs
at a Yishun pet shop $13 for each crab.

I was thinking of buying one , taking my macros then
giving it away to someone who wants to have it..

This is a wild one I found in Jurong.



The complexity of the design makes it a very interesting macro subject

Then again, there's always the "crabs" you get from the Hotel 81 freelancers...

I will be scared to keep one. What if they get a good grasp on you with one of those claws? :eek:

That is a nice one.
I used to keep those small lobsters and shrimps (Cherry, mosquito and bumble bee), but they dead. So I give up already.
Maybe they are not meant to live that long anyway... What is their lifespan? Maybe you gave them a good life while they are alive... so not so bad. ;p

Wow...these pets are not easy to keep. Unless you can really create a "real natural habitats" for them if not they will dead easily.......

I saw on the net too!!!! It really nice but not easy to keep.

If they look like they are dying... just take them out and cook them. ;)
