heyz pple... do u guys noe how much it'll cost mi if i wanna burn a roll of negatives into CD at a normal photoshop? :dunno:

I did it once at the shop next to the Bukit Timah Rd Mobil station. It cost me $18(!) according to the guy, the $9.9 price is a promotion in addition to developing a set of photograph.

You may want to try the shop in the Adelphi. I enquired about the price, and they said it is $14

Hi,

Depends on resolution. This is what Colour Lab charges:

For New Roll of negative (let them develop + scan + optional print)
4-Base (1818 x 1228) - $9.90
16-Base (3360x2240) - $18.00

For pre-processed (developed) roll of negatives
4-Base - $12.00
16-Base - $28.00

For new roll slides
High resolution (1536x1024) - $9.90
Ultrahigh resolution (3072x2048) - $13.90

Well, you already said "waste time larz... 40 * 35 photos can die lehz..." ;) - scanning is a very time consuming process, so it gets expensive. I asked, no discount, only got 10% discount if you are a member ($20 life-time membership fee).

i'm stuck btwn these 2 options...
1)shld i develop 1st so that i can choose which to scan? but some photo not nice so becomes waste of $$$..

or

2)scan 1st so that i can choose which to develop or print?!!

hahaz... this sounds more affordable... :D
even though i agree that scanning is a painstaking task.. :D
but i'm sure they haf the necessary technology to make their life easier.. ;)
and i've heard tt it's possible to get it done fer around 5 bucks per roll of post-processed negatives.. so paying $12 is reelli a little too ex... :)
