Kenko Pro 300 1.4x is around $320-350.

Unlike the Sigma and Canon, the Keno one does not have a protruding lens element (which prevents usage with most non EX/L lenses).

what's the difference between 1.4 and 2? do the results differ by a very wide margin? i'm more concerned with aperture values, not so much focal lengths because DSLRS already got 1.6 multiplier.
Can someone provide me info? thanks alot.

and oh yah... sorry to hijack your thread ;)

easily answered....
1.4x: aperture multiply by 1.4.
2x: aperture multiply by 2.

you get greater image degradation with 2x compared to 1.4x.
