Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of any shops (or printers) in singapore supplying (or printing on) papers that has in-built copy-proof paper where the invisible watermark will only appear if the printed paper is scanned or photocopied?

THanks in advance!

is there such a paper? wow

There is micro-imprinted "copyproof" paper for printing documents like school certificates. A photocopy would then have a message like "COPY" appear on it. This method is not suitable for pictures, and even for text documents it doesn't work well if at all with non-ancient photocopying technology.

Some equipment may also refuse to copy documents that contain certain markers (identifying them as banknotes). While the technology exists, it is not widely implemented and presumably easy to circumvent.

There is a type of copy proof paper which we used for classified documents. Can't photocopy at all as it will turn dark and with water-mark when photocopied....

I can't tell you where to get this in Singapore. However, you may try to call this guy from a security printing company - Johnny at 90023338 to see whether he has lobang for this.

This is for certificates, but not photos. Many schools use these 'copy-evident' certificates to prevent exact copies via photocopy machines or even scanners.

can prevent photocopy, but can be prevent being taken with a camera without flash? :dunno::sweat:
