Coolpix P7000?

Hi fellas,

I'm DSLR user and i'm thinking over for a smaller camera as sometime dont really feel like carrying DSLR out from home, especially just going for dinner..

i'm actually interested with Nikon P7000 and Panasonic LX5, but i cant tell which is better..

any advice?

if you plan to use your nikon external speedlight then buy back nikon

If its just simple Point and shoot. S95 is the way to go.

Reviews don't seem very good...better to stick to s95 or lx5

advantages : you can mount the nikon flash, use the same infra remote trigger, and more buttons and dials as shortcut and some customisable buttons

disadvantage : size is too big for my pocket , the time between each shots is bit too long

If you are looking at high end compacts in this price range, you might want to take a look at the Olympus XZ-1
