CONVENTIONAL INFRA-RED PHOTOGRPAHY COURSE
Welcome to the world of infra-red photography. This course shall equip students with the necessary skills to explore infra-red photography and create stunning images with visual impact.
Duration : 5 weeks, 2 hours per session
Course Fee : S$200 (member), S$300 (non-member)
Language : English
Pre-requisite : Basic Photography Course

• What is Infrared photography
• Types of Infrared films and filters
• Handling of IR films
• Film rating, metering system / method and exposure

Lesson 2 : ( weekday ) The preparation
• Loading / unloading film
• Developing equipments
• Types of Film developers
• Film developing times

Lesson 3 : ( Weekend ) The outing

Lesson 4 : ( Weekday ) The processing ( Practical session )
• Loading and developing of negatives
• Types of film developer
• Developing times

Lesson 5 : ( Weekday ) The printing process ( Practical session )
• Types of paper developer
• Types of paper and grades of paper
• Developing times
• Newton’s ring phenomenal

Note: The course fee includes the chemical and paper.

This course looks like 1/4 IR class and 3/4 Developing/Printing class :p

Does not see anything wrong with that Vince ..... The loading / unloading and developing of IR is most probably the most difficult part of IR photography.

However, Darren might like to add in a small part talking about cameras with IR optical film loading mechanism which could fog part of the negative. He might like to advise potential students on the possiblity of his/her camera having such mechanism.
