~ The "LINK" Chinese Culture Photographic Contest Accepted Peranakan Culture As One Of The Contest's Themes ~

After a round of serious discussion, the working committee of "Link" Chinese Culture Photographic Contest had decided to accept Peranakan culture, or Baba Nyonya culture as part of the contest's themes, along with the Singapore's traditional chinese cultures, as the only two themes for the contest.

With a population of about 500, 000, Baba Nyonya's unique costumes and delicious traditional foods are indeed a characteristic culture in our society. By including the Peranakan culture, the contents of selected entry will be richer and more varied, it certainly will also provide more choice for our participants.

The deadline for submission of entry is on the 31st Oct 2014, please refer to the attached entry form for further information, you may download the entry form from our Facebook webpage. Thank you.
