There's a pro-consumer law (Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act) that allows a buyer a three-day cooling-off period when buying products like insurance, investment and other hardware, etc..

Can and/or should this three-day cooling-off period apply to registration of marriage?

Is registration of marriage consider a trade between a man and a woman? The man asks ‘will you?’ and the woman answers ‘Okay’ and vice versa.

I dont see this as a neccessary act.

Marriage is a serious thing, when you go for ROM for a date of solenmisation, the period is wjhile waiting the date is already a time to consider. You dont go to ROM with a person you dont really like dont you?

Buy hardware, there is a period of 7 to 10 days shop warranty, only on that specific product, one-to-one exchange, not for other product.
