Compress Air

I have heard of using compress air to blow out the dust from CCD of dSLR.

Anyone out there actually using it?
If yes, please share the brand / cost / where to buy.

Using the Sensor SWAB from www.photosol.com is very expensive.
One cleaning cost average about SGD9.

Not really advisable. Using a conventional blower will be better.
Cos using compressed air, you may run into the problem of condensation on your CCD, which may leave stains. Also the high pressure of the air coming out of the nozzle may damage the photosites on the CCD.

It is mentioned many times in other threads..... I personally used this method... very very clean.... just need to spend some time practicing.

Yes, I did saw this PEC PAD....reluctant to use it because of below..

In fact I think I read somewhere said Fuji and Kodak recommend using compress air to clean the CCD. Of course the compress air should not have any residue or oil particle, which is excatly why I am looking for this kind of compress air.

Hmmm... you must remember that the filter on top of your CCD is real hard. So unless you mess around with it too hard, it is unlikely that it will be scratched... regarding the CO2 gas, it is same as the ones I use to top up air for my bicycle... The only worrying danger of that is that you may accidentally fuse the dust particles to your low pass filter. Ultimately the decision lies on you. I prefer to DIY.
