I've just posted a short blog in my multiply page, talking about how we shoot advertising photographs using limbo backgrounds in the studio, and then slapping them onto background stocks to make the final image.
Since the article was geared toward Art Directors, I didn't really create a step-by-step tutorial. (more on that later) Nonetheless, I still think some people might want to know what we're doing in advertising photography these days.
Of course, a lot of big retouching houses are doing composites way more complex than what I'm doing. =)
