Hi,

I am looking for compacts with built in intervalometer.
Any one has any suggestions?

Thanks lots.

Ricoh GX100 & GX200 do have intervalometer for so call time lapse photography.

I remember that my 4 years old Canon Powershot G6 has the intervalometer feature; newer Powershot series may not have this any more. I've never tried it so not sure if it works well.

Sigma DP2 surprisingly has that too.

pretty complicate name for a "self timer"...had to google actually to make out what it means. :)

it's more than a self timer, which is usually used to set off the shutter once.

intervalometer.... you can set the camera to take a photo at a set interval, so a photo every 5 seconds or something :D

Canon PowerShot S3 IS (but not S5 IS)

My Ixus 80IS (2 years old?) has it.. Im pretty sure quite a few do.

Nikon P5100

Time Lapse Movie (up to 1800 stills at specified intervals, combined into a movie up to 60 secs long)

My old Nikon Coolpix S200 also can.

I recall Canon custom firmware chdk can add the function to any Canon camera that support the custom firmware.
