hi guys....

looking at buying a compact camera mainly for taking pics at concert......any good recommendations?
 

canon G10 + speedlite 220ex

if flash is allowed
 

thanks....me looking like just a camera that can fit easily into my pocket or what....
i heard Ricoh CX1 is not bad...any comments/feedback?

I havent tried concert photography, but ISO 400-800 indoor seems quite usable with a bit of noise.
 

what type of concert?

from personal experience, stage concert (orchestra) photography, ISO 400 is more than enough as the stage would be brightly lit

others like dance or rock bands would be different as lighting changes consistently

do note that some places do not allow (flash) photography too, especially esplanade
