The Commonwealth Photographic Awards are organized by the Commonwealth Press Union in collaboration with the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association and supported by the National Youth Achievement Award Council in Singapore.

This competition is open to all residents of Commonwealth member-countries, regardless of their profession.

Theme
The theme for this year awards is " Youth " .

Prize
First prize is £2000, with cash prizes for regional winners.

A film about the winning images and the Awards will be commissioned and made available for broadcast in most Commonwealth member-countries.

Closing Date
All entries must be submitted to NYAA by Monday, 24 May 2004.

Entry Details

1. All entries to be sent to

2. Pictures may be taken anywhere in the world

3. Only ONE print per person is permitted.

4. Photographs may be B&W or colour. Recommended print size is 8" x 12" (ard 20.5am x 31cm).

5. Digital images must be entered on paper.

6. Digitally enhanced images are not eligible.

hmm. must the prints be mounted? got any website for us to refer to?

Hmm...how they ensure that the images digitally is not enhanced?? :dunno:

compare timestamp with the EXIF capture date/time? :) or maybe it's an honour thing.
