I know that this bird has been shot to the death already. However now it is getting less flighty. Despite a couple of bollywood guys doing the dance nearby, it managed to stay still for me to get close. I could only get so close, water was my barrier. Had part of the tripod in the water, but the rest of the gear stayed dry. Enjoy.

500mm plus 1.4x at 15.3m is really not that bad.

How do you find the 1D4?
