hi Stoned,

did some enhancements to your photos. In particular, I like the Celestial Transport .. very humorous of you :D

Did some burning in for you. You are using film right? If you are, after scanning in, you still have to do a little sharpening :)

for "Celestial Transport"

- always work on a new copy (CTRL+J) for Win or (Apple sign+J) for MAC
- play with CURVES 1st to bring the highlights down as your orig is overexp
- Increase the contrast very slightly
- Burn tools to saturate and deepen the colors of darker areas
- Unsharpen mask

for "Ginseng"

- always work on a new copy (CTRL+J) for Win or (Apple sign+J) for MAC
- play with Contrast to +9
- Burn tool to burn in the shadows and darker areas
- adjusted the levels a little to bring back some of the lighter shade details lost during contrast adjustments
- Unsharpen mask

Well... after a while you should be able to tell if it's film or digital lah... besides, the pics looked film-like (latitude I guess) and your avatar showed you with a film cam :D

argh i use PS elements so dont think i have curves, do I? But thanks SniperD for the rest of the advice. Will attempt to duplicate your success now.

cheh, looked at my avatar to tell :bsmilie:
