In the past, I used to have my Epson CX5500 (have colour restore function) to do the colour restore of photos which colours have faded.

Now, I don't have a printer nor scanner.
Not interested in Epson anymore but thinking of getting a Brother printer for normal use.
The thing is the colour restore function can only be found on an Epson scanner (if I'm not wrong).

I wonder is there any software which can do it if I just scan the photos after I scan the photos into digital format?

Thanks. :D

Brother is a recipe for disaster... Those things are awful.

You could use photoshop.

Everyone i've known that owned brother printers has been cursing and swearing. I still recommend Epson.

Rashkae: Why would you say that? Is the quality of the scan very bad?
2evans: You mean I could do it by using the colour balance function?

Yep, that can be one of the ways. Lots of tutorials for PS online you can do a search for.

I think Sony and Epson should award you or at least sponsor you for your hobby. You're the most loyal fan I'd ever seen! :)
