Colour change when converting from RAW to JPEG?

When I tried to convert a RAW image (sepia tone) to a JPEG image, the colour doesnt seemed to be accurately shown on the JPEG. It looked more of monochrome rather than sepia.

Has anyone encountered this before? What are the corrective steps?

I'm using canon digital photo professional.

Make sure that you are converting to sRGB and not Adobe RGB colorspace.
