Yah, I don't buy their explanation also. It makes no sense for me.

In the long run they will save more due to the lower maintainence.

Maybe that extra $0.60 is to help to offset the higher rental for the cabbie :dunno:

CNG sells at just 65 cents for the equivalent of a litre of fuel, compared to about $1.07 for a litre of diesel.

Cabbies can each expect to save $10,000 a year in operation costs, said Mr Harjantho.

wah...got car leh....

commuters pay more, cabby company save more = earn more....that's business mah....
