Thanks to Nikon SG's kind sponsorship, ClubSNAP is able to organise a Sports Photography Workshop over the weekend of the 30th and 31st of January.
The workshop will encompass talks on taking better sports photographs, an inside look into sports photography, as well as discussion on the latest technological improvements that go into getting better sports photographs.
Also included will be several hands on sessions where the participants will get the chance to try their hand at sports photography, under the watchful guidance of the professional, and with professional sports photography equipment kindly provided on loan by Nikon SG.
The weekend will also include a review session or two, where people can have the opportunity to look at what other photographers have captured, and also to learn from their own work and try to improve in subsequent shoots. There will also be the opportunity to bring down your own sports photographs that you have taken to have them appraised and by me and to get advice on them.
Friday, 30th January (this is tentative)
Kick-off briefing and short presentation in the evening
Saturday, 31st January
Morning - Hands-on workshop Session 1
Afternoon - Hands-on workshop Session 2, followed Talk on Hints and Tips for Better Sports Pictures. Feedback from the days shooting.
Sunday, 1st February

We are still busy confirming the events in the workshop, but among the things that might be used will be cycling, canoing and of course football.

[2] Transport on both days to the sporting venues.
[3] Lunch on Sat and Sun.
[4] A Nikon photographic vest and cap sponsored by Nikon SG.
