cleaning of the low pass filter

Hi,
Does anyone knows how much it cost to send my Nikon camera back to Nikon service centre to clean the low pass filter?

That's basic sensor cleaning. Why don't you DIY?

can't. The dirt spot is still there... Tried blower, spot still there

Well, in that case just give them a call - AFAIK sensor cleaning doesn't cost much. Try a seach for "nikon sensor cleaning" and you should find postswith the pice no problem

$25 + 7% gst + 20 - 30 mins. of waiting time were the amount I paid when i sent in my D90 last November. Hope is still the same for u.

Went to clean the sensor. Cost $20 + 7%GST and 30 mins...

cotton buds, eye-drops with witch-hazel, blutack..

And a LED lighted magnifying loupe...

Beats any of the other commercially purchased cleaning stuff I have used before.


The lowpass filter glass is not a piece of tofu
