Clarke Quay, a must go destination for camera owners?

In my experience, more or less every camera user would go down there to take pictures. I havent been there in years but damn there are a lot of changes.

walking from Clarke Quay to Citylink.

Go up Singapore flyer or experience flying in this contraption?

I like the light rays.

I see them go up and down the river with a net to catch stray litter. I wonder if they are appreciated.

A whole row of seafood restaurants, pubs and bars as well as other tourist trades. I wonder if this will be how it looks like eventually when take a ferry to Pulau Ubin.

Even under the bridge is somewhat clean. Quite surprising.

I remember there used to be one or two "entertainers" who would play any song in their huge repertoire for a few coins. Wasnt award winning but fairly entertaining.

Pretty odd, when i was at Clarke Quay side it was super sunny however at this side not so sunny.

I wonder how many times they repainted a year and what paint they use to keep the colors bright.

Do people who work at really high rise places choose to sit near a window if given the option?

Odd that commerce buildings are so tall compared to nearby SG Treasury?

Looks like head of an alien. Good effort on making security cameras as invisible as they can..or are they traffic cameras. Overall cute though imo.

Whenever see this when go Funan IT Mall, always reminded of Star Trek for some reason.

Have never seen it being cleaned externally but i find it hard to believe after all these years can still be the same colors.

At lower right can see some lines which disappear eventually, an optical glitch?
Noticed a lot of entries were escalators during the last canon photo marathon but still cant figure out the themes relation to an escalator.

Citylink christmas tree. cannot get too close as its High Voltage which is pretty ironic to me.

I have even more pictures but overall, i can say its one of the places to go to play with toys.

**No problems on the focusing when heandheld or tripod, the people at CSC really do their job well even on an old camera. Also got requests along the way by people to help take their group photo the minute they saw my big big tripod.:bsmilie:
