first pic: lesser headroom, streaking cars in the street would be nice

second pic: looks bleeding and cold, is that the intention?

for 1st pic, i actually feels the head room is ok, except that maybe having light trail is better, i have another shot, but not much light trail in that one also.

for 2nd pic, dm has got a better angle shot, but both timing abit late. see #297

What you need is the 24mm PC lens.

You are shooting upwards that causes convergence that makes your buildings not parallel/straight with each other.

both shots were taken with canon g2 + oly 0.7xwcon. wanted to go light.:)

dm's shot were taken with 24tes + 1dmkll:thumbsup:

and yes, i have 24tse, on 40d not wide enough, prefer on ff, ie film (no $$ for 5d):bsmilie:

Both pics look nice to me. ;)
 

din like either..

especially for the first pic.. the brightly lit building in the foreground took away almost everything from the pic.. notwithstanding the fact that the towers in the background are compositionally off (abruptly chopped off at the sides, heavily weighted to the left, etc) in the first place..
