Hi...all,
We promised that year 2006 will be a good year for all at Circle of Light Photocommunity. Here's the start with a big bang. We've line up exciting programme in the forthcoming gathering. The details are as follows:
Date : 18 February 2006, Saturday
Time : 1400 hrs to 1630hrs
Venue : EPSITE Gallery at Wheelock Place
3rd floor Wheelock Place, above Borders bookstore
Charges : Free of Charge
Programme
1. Talk by Mr Lee Tiah Khee on "What is good Photojournalism?"
- Mr Lee is a the Chief Photographer for LianHe ZaoBao. A veteran in photojournalistic photography. He will share with all his knowledge and projects in B&W photojournalism. He'll be also sharing his upcoming publication. A rare opportunity to learn from the Master himself. DOn;t miss it.
2. Talk by Mr Chow Chee Yong on "Illusionary Images"
Mr Chow is no stranger in local context. A lecturer in Temasek polytechnics who has been know for his impressive works in B&W over the years. He will be sharing his experience in his B&Wand the wetworks in the darkroom. He will also share about his move out of the "dark" to cross over to the digital side.
3. Print Showcase of Street Journalism Workshop #2 participants
The venue can cater to a maximum of 40 persons. Registration is required so that it allow us to plan for the logistic needed for the gathering. People who turn up without registration would run the risk of being denied entry due to overwhelming response. Registered COL Members would be given priority for entry.
