Hi...all,
We're here again for the next exciting gathering in April 05. In the last gathering we're thrilled by Ken Seet's insight into his B&W world and how John Cosgrove brought us swimming in the digital darkroom.
April 05 promises more excitment in our line up of programmes for our gathering. The details are:
Date : 17 April 2005, Sunday
Time : 1300 to 1600hrs
Venue : Epsite Gallery
3rd Floor, Wheelock Place (above Borders Bookstore)
Programme
1. Talk by Mr Thierry De La Rue on "Dangerous Curves"
- Thierry is a fine art photoenthusiasts who specialises in the form and shapes of Asian beauties. He will share his passion with you on B&W nude and fine art photography. You can see his works at www.thierrydelarue.com
2. Talk by Mr Leonard Goh on "What I saw at Bangladesh"
- In 2004, Leornard did an internship with Ahmed Shahidul at Drik agency in Bangladesh coordinating for the Chobi Mela III - the International Festival of Photography, Asia 2004. He'll share with us his experience and images from his trip and the meaningful work that he has worked with Ahmed Sahidul, Founder of Drik Agency.
3. Print Critiques
- As per all gathering, pls bring along 2 B&W or monochrome print for sharing in the print critique session. The size of the photos should be at least A4 or 8x10 inch so that all present can view without problem.
4. Briefing for the Epson Fine Art Digital Workshop in May 05.
Pls sign up and put yr name if u r keen to attend the gathering.
OK. Now for the payment part. For confirmed attendance, pls deposit S$5 into my POSB account. It's a POSB saving account number 073-13414-5. Pls put yr nick in the transfer so that I know who send me the $$. After u have transferred the money, pls drop me a PM to inform me of yr transfer. Should I not receive the notification from u through PM, I'll thank yr for yr contribution to the gathering's F&B part. Pls transfer the money by 13 April 2005. Thanks.
