Cicadas "blooming" in Osaka's summer

I wasn't expecting this when I went to Osaka for a business trip 2 weeks ago. Cicadas are everywhere and they are big! The cicadas choir is deafening; I could hear them from my 20th floor hotel room.

Nice find.
You should find one which is molting and shoot the process in video. It will be over in few minutes. But take care not to touch its wings or body which may cause deformation and affect the bug.
