Looking from my home monitor, BRIGHTNESS could be over corrected.
Any comment?

I find the pictures very interesting. I wasn't aware there was such a nice cemetary around.

What I would suggest is to think a bit how to handle the distortions from tilting the camera (keystoning). This is particularly apparent in the third picture, where you have the choice of either letting the cross stand straight, or having a level horizon. I would consider correcting this in software to solve the dilemma.

Another point is that the details of the graves are very small. This would be a non-issue, however, if the pictures got printed in a large enough format.

Can you share the the setting / steps?

I use NC4.

Only 1 step. Load the file, click click click and drag drag drag.
I use my own feeling, most important is, give me good and natural colors.

Here are the settings.

If you like it very much, I don't mind to show you one more time.

D-lighting is not god... avoid over using it I can tell you used D-lighting by the way you re-processed your shots. You lose quite a bit of image quality by using D-lighting.

Thanks Thanks, finally, received my first constructive comment.

i prefer the original. the contrasting tone on the wood if taken away makes the picture looks blunt and flat. it depends on what u think is more important. increasing the exposure of cos helps to bring out the details of the cemetry in the background.

also super newbie here, just sharing. but if i want the background to be sharp, i usually will not include too close a foreground object that went out of focus (like the cross on the left). as the cross is really near and the background quite far away, u need to have a very wide depth of field, i.e. very small aperture. i think u can afford that cos the light looks pretty bright and uncasted.

just wondering what aperture size did u use?

your focus object is too close to the corner. would it be better if it is closer to the lateral right 1/3 by rules of the third? and the sky i think can be sacrificed since it is featureless. and i think wide angle lens held vertically can help to exaggerate the perspective as the flabs on the ground is too horizontal. if u can stretch it out along the perspective, it may look more interesting.

just my opinion.

Being a cemetary, I feel that the darker version is more in line, to give a some sombre mood. Maybe a little darker still can?
