Hi,
Helping out in a coming ROM ceremony.

Thinking of using the following available options:

1) Ricoh 28/2.8 point and shoot , film 400
2) Fuji F10, likely ISO 800
3) Nikon 50/1.8 film 400 or 800

Since I am not comfortable with using flash, which would be a preferable choice.
Knowing that the actual ceremony may be only 10-15 minutes, tripod is quite slow
and may be overkill....

Or use Ricoh and Fuji??

TIA.

if you are not sure of yourself then use film + P&S + ISO 400 film
Let the lab do the adjustments
if the picture still go wrong, blame the camera + lab

:)

From the moment the wedding couple sit down in front of the Solemnizer, till they signed and received the marriage cert, it only about 5mins, which camera you think is fast enough for you to operate without thinking what to set, compose and shoot?

Btw, nobody will wait for you, either you get the shots or nothing.

The fastest, imho, would b ricoh 28mm .:)

I am thinking, maybe the ROM event is not just the signing/ solemnisation
(that of course, should be the most important part of the outing), but
also the involved parties (couple, and the families), the anxiety, some
before and after event documentation lor.

But if it is only the 5 minutes thingy, yeah, i think ricoh should be the most capable....
given the tight space constraints, short timing, quick action (focusing, wide DOF).
i.e set the aperture and start snapping. :p

Mmmm, i do have another 40/2.4 film p&s but i think Fuji has more flexibility lah
if i am going for a two cameras outing.

what u all think ? :)
