another option is 2 go lugguge /travel section of any major department store 2 c d range of products. Mendoza, Yellow Submarine, Tatonka (many brands i 4got le  ) were some of d brands which were excellent but not popular locally.

I think Billingham's would be a good bet for you. Check em out

crumpler bag look nice but 2 main cons

1. no main compartment zip - things can possible drop out if not careful
2. very stiff.

original version and current uses different materials,
they are no longer "very stiff" and also lighter

but original material looks like you can drop your bag and
no harm will come to your equipment.

If your budget is unlimited get the Fogg B-Major. Not only is it fully hand-made, but when you order it, you will be dealing with the actual persons sewing the bag (Nigel Fogg and bee berman), and customisation is possible (change dimension, omit or add pocket, hot-stamping your name).

I have had them make two bags for me and their work is impeccable.

And how much did you spent?

act i would suggest a lowepro...i switched my slings and backpacs from crumpler to lowepro....and i lurve it....

imho the all weather cover is not a farce it really works....and esp for slings...i feel that the crumpler's are nicely padded...but u end up carrying all tt extra weight from padding.... which is v taxing esp if its a sling....

the new crumpler backpac designs i think aint so cool as compared to the old ones...and cp dun carry them no more man.....

anyway...i like the LV idea....shall go scout ard for a nice lv man....then see can add inserts anot...MUAHAH...like tt....SURE KENA ROB....
