Chinatown Night Photography on Monday.

Anyone interested in taking photos in Chinatown on Monday 24 Jan, perhaps 7:30pm?

I'm interested in shooting the Chinatown area at night, at a not so crowded night, and thought Monday is pretty ok.

I'm going to shoot with film, and possibly digital as well. I'm going to bring manual lens.

Friday 7:30pm Chinatown MRT (Pagoda St Exit)

I'll be lugging 2 EOS cameras mounted Nikon lens. hehe..

I'm teaching at a University, so probably in a suit too.

So far EOS 1N and 1Ds2 in my bag with 180mm f2.8 Nikkor ED and 90mm Summicron R, but I think it is too heavy.

err.... Robin. I am not so sure what is medium format.
Now that I noticed actually you planned it with some medium format folks, I wonder if I am welcomed to join you all.

Based on my last trip there...90mm or longer focal length maybe a bit too far due to the crowd. But again, that's just me. Will try to come over after I'm done at suntec. Any dslr will do right?

Need that long focal length?
I am bringing just 50mm and another 18-55mm lens.
I left my 55-200mm at home. if needed, I need to go back and get it.

I used a 20(40mm) for my day shoot there as its rather crowded there.

I've been shooting with my point and shoot any way.

But I stupidly carried by EOS 1N(film) and 5D today.

I tried shooting with 180mm, 105mm and seems fine as well.

Just come and enjoy yourself and learn from others.

Any lens will do, photos will just look different.

I've shot with 180mm in crowded streets in Boston few weeks back with 180mm.
