Have a panasonic tz-5 but its not getting close enough, dont think there is a macro adaptor for it.

Looking for camera/device that can get really close up to a bug say
picture quality can afford to compromise la
just for casual shots..

What is the cheapest way to shoot?

Presently my webbiecam can shoot real close, close enuf to see the pixels on a lcd monitor
but it needs a PC to tag along :(

Any ideas? Thanks!

Try Raynox. Do a search and you should be able to find some info. Check out the mass sale section as well.

thanks.. found raynox 250 reselling at around $100.
anyone knows if it can fit the panasonic tz5?
thanks

I guess you can but an adaptor is required IIRC and you can try the MSN-202 too.

thanks..
took a close look at the tz5 lens.
has no filter threads.. all smooth
worse thing is is retracts fully with auto cover
when switched off
not a good candidate for adapters :(

guess wld need to invest in entry level DSLR,
zoom lens , raynon close up and maybe a teleconvertor..

not cheap anymore. :(

wallet feels light already ...

thanks for your advice
