Cheap Alternative to McBeth Chart....for Fun..

Hiee....Amatuers out there.....

Wanna test out how well....your digital camera colour response and dynamic range????......welll and wanna do it cheap !!!!!.....

As an additional fun thing to do to compare cameras.....

Instead of using McBeth Color charts.......you could just walk in to paint shops like Nippon , Berger etc.......and get one copy of their catalogue.....
In these catalogues......there are Many....many range of colors.....real wall paint colors for real life situations......

Well....may sound corny......but it works!!!!!! and its Free!!!!

Have been using this for quite a while to test colours, monitor and prints.

Do this catalogs have high reflectance? Also, the colors have no baseline to compare against,as the colors may not have been softproofed?
