Thanks Veronica, definitely looking forward to this event. However, can give us ample notice? Cos we don't check this weeksite all the time and if we have event shooting lined up, we may need to change or arrange for another person to shoot so 2 weeks notice seem reasonable.

Finally!
As some of you may have heard, the annual Star Awards is here again. This is one of the largest shows on the Channel 8 calendar. Show 2, the main event where major awards like Best Actor/Actress, Best Drama etc, will be held on 24th April at Resorts World Sentosa.
Most of the MediaCorp artistes, including familiar names like Zoe Tay, Fann Wong, Chen Han Wei, Tay Ping Hui, Christopher Lee, Qi Yu Wu, as well as Jeanette Aw, Rui En and many many more will be in attendance. A strong line-up of foreign artistes will also grace the event.
The artistes will be arriving in style, and taking a walk along the red carpet. We would love to have some photographers take those spots alongside our media. However, your access would be restricted to the red carpet itself for that period only. (So pai seh lah, you guys cannot stay for backstage or to watch the show)
The copyright of these photos will remain with you, and you are not obligated to send in your photos after. (though that would be greatly appreciated!) The details are as follows:
Date: 24th April 2011, Sunday
Time: 5.30pm - 6.30pm (registration at 4.30pm)
Venue: Resorts World Sentosa, near the Casino (no entrance fee if you drive/cab straight in)
If you would like to be part of the red carpet event, do email channel8.photogs@gmail.com with your Name , Email Address and Contact Number to register. We're currently looking for about 20 more photographers, and on a strictly first-come-first-serve basis. Do note that we're looking for interested photographers, and not crazy fans!
